10 things to know before creating a business

After starting nine small successful businesses during my career of 11 years as an entrepreneur, I am regularly asked: "How did you make the leap into independence?" and "What is the most important thing you need before starting a business to be?" These questions are then usually a deluge of questions on the minutiae that ownership of small enterprises and development ensued. Questions like "Where can I get a tax ID number?" or "How do I get the capital?" or "How do I register myWebsite? "I'm often asked. Although the detail-oriented questions have some validity and some believe that the really important things that every entrepreneur should know in general. Important information that an entrepreneur needs to know, is the stuff profit mentality. The stuff though company fails or is not determined in the minutiae. I can teach myself to get an idiot, like a tax identification number, but I can teach you how to embrace an idiot in full, and fans implementationthe "10 things you should know before a business." These 10 things, concepts and ideas have the power to change your entire trajectory of success or have the potential to do anything. How do these 10 things that impact your life is 100% up to you. And without further ado here we go:

Before a business is not a business until you actually sell something.

I know, I understand. Trust me. Purchase of mobile phones and is funny. I know that you design your logo is cooland exciting. I know that buying your very own vehicle-wrapping sounds appealing. I know that the order is impressive letterhead with your name on that. I know that is the new Voice-Over-The-Internet-phone system truly revolutionary. But none of this matters until you reach your first sale. If you do not sell you do not have a business. If you have not made your first sale, all you have is a "justification for professional office gadgets to buy." If you do not passCash from a customer in exchange for a product or service that you value and then update your business is rendered incorrectly.

The second best way to market the new product services or harass others through the power of big discounts are based on prices established successfully.

When prompted for a new and possibly exit the market during the life, the only way to do this effectively without a huge amount of marketing capital and time, adding that it is deeply want low pricesestablished based on the prices rich. Here's an example. If you want the business landscape in your town, will give the probability that there is already a top dog in your market. Perhaps someone in your town, the market share by far. Think of the iPhone, what are these things? How much cost to actually buy one of these phones without purchasing aPhone Plan? A lot. Why Americans are willing to buy a new iPhone? Then he got his first iPhone with its heavily discounted phone plan.

At the end of the third day, or if your company does not sell, then your business is to go to hell.

You could be a genius and the product could be the best. are perhaps the best writer in American history, but never the stink of your coverage and Americans buy your book will not be reading your content and your ideas will never make itoutside the market. Is that right? Yes American judges books by their covers them and judge companies based on their perceived value. If your site stinks, feel, smell. If your sales presentation stinks, think your product stinks. My friend, if you can not sell the product to the people then do not start a business. Fourth Do not Ever build a business model that is ultimately not scalable, and reproducible, without your direct involvement in the company.

While there is nothing wrong with hard work, is something wrong in exchange for more of your time limit. In the short term, we exchange all our time for money. Early in my first company I had almost 80 hours a week on a specific site on the day of work at workas an aid at home for the health of the elderly in the night. I had to exchange my time for money? Yes, but in the end I was able to create these money exchange business, which to me the situation. At first this activity was a part of me. It did not work without me. He had no pulse without me. Without me not to breathe. When I took a week, took a week off last. If I lost focus, lost people to focus for me. But over time, and the intense promotion of my wife and the intenseI had reached a desire for more in life I have been able to block the mental barrier and the belief that "I did everything to overcome what to do with my business." I do not like small talk. Hate minutiae. I do not know how long-winded conversations about nothing. I am angry, offering general criticism. Those who speak and not annoy the hell out of me guilty. Are faced again and again in the position, in the presence of mediocrity, no. I can not stand accounting minutiae. Completion of forms gives me anxiety attacks. I do not remember my address, or nearly all the information that I do not think, to makeare needed for daily operation. These are my weaknesses. What are yours?

I think and talk about the big picture. I love "big ideas". I receive many things to do, because I only ever talks. I have to go often to watch on Monday 01:00 am at work, so I get everything done that I feel I need to do. They are relentless follow-up with subjects that will not work if the left itself, "I do not have time" excuse. I delegate the accounting minutiae. My wife and IStaff to compile all the modules for me. I entered my address in a document that I simply log in from my computer. I refuse to try to learn something by heart, so I check lists for everything. These are my strengths.

My friend, if you lived life three times, would not have enough time to improve all our weaknesses. So why even try? Spend your time honing the skills of God God gave you abilities. Use them to pay. People pay to see you follow your passions.People will never pay to see me talking to a birthday party. People pay me to Getting Things Done. People do not pay me well for filling out forms. People pay us when my assistant filled the form correctly contractor. Spend your time improving your God given abilities. Do what you do not delegate well and that can not bear to do.

Seventh Concentrate your efforts on one thing and a problem, it shall be decided through.

In the world of entrepreneurship, which often can be excited about our new idea. We believe this new idea that we all love each other. But after we explaina group of boys in a church camp and a group of people at work and then a few more people in local gym, you start to understand this idea, the concept of marketing packages dehydrated water makes "a good compromise. Large companies with big marketing budgets are always trying to find ways to push their products out to consumers. Pepsi is a perfect example of a company that aimed to market their product uniquely. To get this done, Pepsi enlisted the help of the popular fashion designer Nigo from Japan. This merging of urban design and Pepsi was bound to have great impact on the marketing side of the Pepsi product, but also increase sales and customer awareness to both brands.

Fashion designer Nigo, is the designer of the popular urban clothing wear, Bathing Apes, in Japan. His style and use of limited edition for his clothes has created a cult like following in Japan. It was a brilliant marketing idea for Pepsi to team up with Nigo as it allowed for an inspiring marketing campaign. The design and release of limited edition Pepsi Cola, by famous Bathing Ape designer Nigo was a brilliant idea, which could only benefit both companies.The success Bathing Ape and Pepsi could only help them in this brilling marketing plan. From one perspective Pepsi reaches a market that could see them as hip and cool. BAPE would be exposed to a new audience resulting in interest a product many people never heard about. By Pepsi using the style that Nigo has used with his BAPE clothing line, it could have the same success. An increase demand for an elusive product. The issuing of limited edition Pepsi will create demand and if the supply is right, the profits could be very healthy for Pepsi.

The combination of Nigo’s design and the Pepsi product could only result in one thing, sales. The brilliant marketing idea of Pepsi cans designed by Nigo would affect sales positively in the short run. This also had an effect on BAPE sales too, as people who didn’t know about Bathing Ape / BAPE

before, were now exposed. This was a win win situation as a company’s main goal is to make a profit. This also helps them in the long run; sale wise as people could become attached to a brand, just because of the cross marketing. So Pepsi could receive customers who only drink their product because it was once associated with designer Nigo. The same could held for Bathing Apes as they receive customers who discovered their product through the limited edition Pepsi.

Pepsi and BAPE founder Nigo devised a marketing plan that was a surefire win. It allowed for two highly reputed brands to join forces and push their respective product. The two would benefit from exposure to each demographic market that they controlled. The Pepsi and BAPE combination was the perfect match especially for a culture that embrace the street design and soda pop. The two companies would also benefit from an increase in sales, as the demand for this product was so high, it would reverberate into the other segments of the companies market share.

Neuromarketing: Smart Marketing Or Jedi Mind Control Trick?

In the international bestseller "Blink," Malcolm Gladwell explains why our decisions to choose brands, select a mate, sue our doctor or make choices that decide Presidential elections, aren't as simple as they seem.

Why we often let unconscious biases affect our opinions about people who are taller or have a different skin colour. And why we find it even harder to explain them when asked.

I consider "Blink" essential reading for all marketers. I mean, which blue-blooded marketer wouldn't love to know how the workings of their customer's brain will decide whether their new packaging is going to work or fail?

Or why their new website is converting far fewer visitors than the old one? Of course we would.

But is it really possible to understand why people choose Budweiser over Coors? George W. over John Kerry?

No one really knows for sure. And asking people why they took those decisions doesn't necessarily give the right answers.

Why? Because most of us really haven't a clue as to why we make those choices.

95% of consumer decision-making occurs subconsciously, according to research from Harvard University, according to an article in Time. That's a hell of a lot of decisions we have little or no conscious control over.

In Blink, Gladwell also shows how sometimes the sort of data that marketers rely on - such as market research and focus groups - can fail miserably because they don't always predict actual consumer behaviour, as one beverage discovered when they changed a tried and tested formula.

But new research is beginning to shine a light on the mysterious workings of the neural processes behind those snap decisions.

Known as "neuromarketing," this controversial science could one day lead to new advertising strategies that directly stimulate hard-wired mental reflexes rather than appealing to fuzzy consumer attitudes.

The Time article also cited research that seems to have solved that eternal mystery - why people prefer Coke over Pepsi. The answer lies in how people identify with brands. Although consumers preferred Pepsi's taste they choose Coke because they identified with its brand better.

A branch of cognitive neuroscience, neuromarketing relies heavily on the ability to visualise how the brain sees choices and takes decisions, using brain scans and a process called functional magnetic resonance imaging or fMRI. fMRI measures the level of oxygen in the blood and tells scientists which parts of the brain are most active.

According to the Wired article, this research even recently revealed the differences in the brains of Democrats and Republicans.

Consumer groups worry that the research could lead to companies using more effective "mind control" to brainwash consumers into decisions that the companies desire, and have issued calls to ban the technology.

Imagine if the tobacco, alcohol, and gambling industries (or even worse, politicians) should start exploiting such information to manipulate the weak minds of their zombified consumers.

But the experts insist we are light years away from such an Orwellian scenario, and believe that the research will help businesses better understand the needs of their consumer and show them how to make life better for their consumers.

Whatever the outcome, neuromarketing is certainly going to be a bone of contention between marketers hoping to get a better grip on their consumer's decision making processes, and consumer activists seeking to help consumers retain control over their minds.

Marketing Strategy and a Lesson to Apply to Any Business

Today we are going to talk about something you may or not be aware of that some and one in particular companies are doing and a very important marketing strategy and a lesson you can apply to your business a few years ago what was Nextel signed a contract or basically paid $750 million for 10 years of branding their name into the race track, cars, and promotions.

At the time and I am pretty sure was the largest investment a company made just to be involved with Nascar and most importantly you should know the fans. Now Sprint bought out Nextel and switched everything over to the Sprint race and their logos on the cars and around the track. You might be wondering, great but what do race cars have to do with my business? Also I don't have $750 million to do it.

Forget about the official branding part, save that for McDonald's, Pepsi, and the rest of the big corporations. What is so great is they took their product and made it part of the Nascar niche. They applied a very powerful marketing strategy. They targeted a market and constantly are in front of that market.

As a matter of fact they even improved service at the track for cell users. They became the preferred choice for most Nascar fans on and off the track. This can be applied to your business. You pick a group to make or already your target market and determine how are you going to get your company in front of them.

What are they looking for, most importantly what problem can you solve for them? How can you make your product or service the choice in that area. Let's go with an example. You are a small local dry cleaner in your area. What group or people would most likely need or want your service on a regular basis? Well off the top of my head you can say police, fireman, hotel staff, or anyone who is a large group of people that on a regular basis need to have their stuff cleaned professionally or could have cleaned professionally.

So you start to do maybe donations, charities, networking, drop off your info at the stations, you ask the hotel if you could leave cards or info for hotel guest discounts and offer professional community discounts or whatever for police and other people in the community, offer pick up and delivery for convenience. You could simply call say hotels and talk to head housekeepers or banquet managers and ask if they need staff uniform cleaning.

I could go on and on and this is quick example. The possibilities are endless for this. Basically one point is once you get the hard part out of the way and make the initial calls, or letters, or meetings, to get your business and your name out there. The rest will be automatic and you can start to be the name that pops up when your service or product is needed. Now there are a few other lessons really that can be found in the whole Sprint and Nascar example, but even this one marketing strategy can be huge for your business.

Why You Must Capture Your Identity

The purpose of capturing your identity is to ensure that all the branding work you do is protected. You do not want to go through the effort of creating your brand only to find out that later you are in competition over your brand with someone else or another business. This is especially true on the Internet where many of the rules of business, trademarks, patents, copyrights, and other legal protections are not well defined or easily challenged. It does not take large amounts of money to register names; so it is wise to do your diligence and register your identity before you begin building your brand.

Decide What You Want for Your Brand

Whether you are looking to establish your name as a brand, a slogan, a trade name, or other identity; search it out on the Internet. Do Google and other searches to determine your competition. If you find that your choice produces huge general results or significant results from a single source; your challenge of taking control of that identity will be greater. Obviously the less competition you find; the easier it will be to capture your identity.

Less competition works in your favor to capture the identity. You will still need to work hard creating your identity; you just will not need to fight through a lot of clutter.

How Do I Capture My Identity

First, you must register with the various Social Networking sites; especially the high profile sites. This is true whether you plan to use the particular Social Networking service, today, in the future, or maybe never. Do not take unnecessary risks with your brand and identity; thinking that it will not matter.

There are many companies that paid millions of dollars when they failed to grasp the potential of the Internet and did not register their brand and trade names. Instead of paying a few dollars to capture their identity they had to "buy" their Internet identity from others who had anticipated the opportunity and registered the brands and trade names. Because there were no laws or other preventions in place; these entrepreneurs took advantage of the loopholes and profited tremendously.

Have an Identifying Picture

Second, if you are trying to create your brand, use quality pictures that present you as you want to be recognized. This is especially true on the professional or business sites. I find nothing more off-putting than a picture that presents you in less than a professional light. There are places for the unprofessional, yet appropriate, pictures; just not your avatar (public picture that identifies you).

This comment about a picture is important in many ways; it says that consistency and a consistent message are critical and your picture is one form of that message.

Failure To Capture Your Identity and Create a Consistent Message

Whether you are going to participate on the site or not, you need to capture your Brand Name. Can you imagine Pepsi capturing their brand name on bottles, but not cans? I cannot imagine that anymore than I can image you registering with LinkedIn, but not Facebook. You will want to syndicate your efforts across the various Social Networking sites, so register your name for when that time comes.

Did you ever hear about Walt Disney and Mortimer Mouse? That was Walt Disney's first character, but it was taken from him by a business partner, because he did not protect his interests. Do not be a Walt Disney and lose your Mortimer Mouse; you cannot afford to miss your opportunities or lose your hard work!

Estonia – A Beautiful Country to Visit

Estonia is beautiful small country located in the East part of Europe, surrounded by Russia in the east, Latvia in the south, Gulf of Finland in the north and the Baltic Sea in the west. The official language spoken is Estonian, but most people can also speak Russian and English, which makes it perfect for tourists.

The fact that this country is so small is definitely a good news as it gives you an opportunity to actually travel in a car from one side of the country to the next side in approximately 4 hours, which is great as it gives you an opportunity to see everything there is and you really get the great feeling of seeing it all.

It's a perfect place to visit for someone who loves the nature as you can see lots of woods, little rivers, beautiful landscapes, big lakes Pepsi and Vortsjarv and the seaside, as more than half of Estonia is surrounded by the sea. But if you are more of a city person and attracted to night clubs, spa's and shopping centres, there's lots of fun to do in the capital city - Tallinn, that is very famous for its Old-Town, or in Parnu - very well known as the capital of summer, as it's located on the coastline and many different celebrations are held in there during the summer months and of course the famous city Tartu, that attracts lots of people cause of its reputation of being a university centre of Estonia(The famous University of Tartu is located in the many different buildings all over city of Tartu).

Accommodation possibilities are brilliant all over the country wither you're travelling alone or with family and it sure is a place to spot your eye on.
